Donnie may be small, but he lives life with the confidence of a dog twice his size. This Norfolk x Cairn Terrier mix has that classic terrier spark bright eyes, quick paws, and a cheerful determination that makes him impossible not to love.

You'd never guess he had a tough start. Donnie has decided that the past is behind him and the future is full of good things: soft beds, kind humans, and as many toys as he can fit in his mouth at once.

At about 12 pounds and expected to land around 21-23 pounds as an adult, he's the perfect take-anywhere companion. Four months old and bursting with curiosity, Donnie is ready to explore the world with his forever family.

A Terrier Through and Through
Donnie is the kind of pup who trots over with purpose, tail wagging like he's announcing himself. He loves being close not in a clingy way, but in that you're my person and I like knowing where you are terrier way.

Donnie is learning quickly routines, manners, and the simple joy of being cared for. He melts into gentle hands, leans into affection, and gives these quiet little sighs when he finally settles in your lap. He's discovering that humans can be safe, predictable, and full of love.

Donnie gets a new home details:

He will be neutered soon, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Currently this dog is being fostered near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $425 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
