Wally is a Chihuahua/Hound mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 30lbs.

He looks like a big chihuahua!

Wally is extremely smart and very proud of his potty skills. He lets his foster know he needs to go out by giving a polite little nudge, and he is also learning to ring the bell on the front door. He has not had a single accident in his foster home. Wally is a gold star student!

Wally is an intelligent, energetic, loving young dog who soaks up training like a sponge. He listens beautifully when you use a firm voice, and he genuinely wants to do the right thing. He is easy to walk on a leash and enjoys his daily outings.

Wally gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He loves to play chase and gently nudges other dogs to join in the fun.

Wally is still young, which means he is ready to learn your routines, your rules, and your version of being a good boy. He adapts quickly and wants to be part of whatever his people are doing. He will shine with a family who enjoys training, playtime, and affection.

Wally is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Wally is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
