Elon - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Poor Elon- he is a casualty of divorce! When his owners split up, he found himself stranded at the shelter. And that is especially hard for a pup that's had a loving home. At 5 years old, he still has energy so will need an active family that can give him daily exercise and playtime. He's about 60 lbs and hasn't had a whole lot of practice on leash, so his adopter will need to be able to handle a dog of his size and provide leash training. He will also need regular grooming. According to his former owners, he is good with both dogs and kids, and is potty trained. He's very loving and does settle down for love and snuggles once he has expended his energy. This beautiful puppy-like boy is currently in AL but we hope to bring him to Maine this Fall.
