Did I say another day, another dog dumped in AL? Well, meet Felix, one such dumped dog. I know you are saying to yourself "who could do that to such a sweet boy?" We try not to dwell on the way and instead embrace the positive- Felix was dumped near the home of some rescuers who have partnered with our AL rescue before and they knew just what to do- get him into rescue where he can find a great forever home that will help him forget all about the people who dumped him. Felix is estimated to be about 7 months old and is a Doodle mix. He currently weighs 50 lbs. He's very sweet- shy at first, but that's to be expected when someone dumped you in the middle of nowhere. He's good with dogs and would likely love another confident dog in the home to pal around with. He's a gentle boy so will likely do fine with kids. He is a puppy who has lived most of his life in boarding/who knows where before he came into rescue so he will need a family that is committed to showing him the ropes of living in a home and provide basic puppy training. Felix is currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in mid-September.
