Ruthie - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Ruthie! At an estimated four years old, we don't know how she came to be in the shelter however to achieve middle-ish age in AL she likely lived in a home as someone's companion at some point in time. We believe she is a Shepherd mix and she is a bigger girl (shhh don't tell her) at around 75 lbs. At the shelter, she is a staff favorite because of her sweet, gentle, and loving personality. She does great with other dogs and would likely love to have some kids in her life. She may have some Pyr mixed in as our rescue partners tell us that she has a bit of selective hearing lol. She still has a bit of pep in her step with some bursts of playful energy but overall she's a pretty chill gal. This sweet girl deserves to find her forever home! She is currently in AL but we hope to get her to Maine in mid-September. Interested adopters can apply for Ruthie starting now!
