Dustin - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Shy guy Dustin is a bit overwhelmed in the shelter- he was brought there when he, his mom, and his brother turned up on a property in AL. We aren't sure how they came to be there but we do know that they likely were not treated well by humans, Dustin is very sweet but is shy and cautious- treats will help him be your friend! He is estimated to be about ten months old and an Aussie mix. As an older puppy who likely has never been a beloved member of the household, he will need a family that is patient and that will work to teach him all the puppy things such as basic commands, leash walking, and potty training. He would likely do best in a home with another confident dog to show him the ropes. He's currently in AL but we hope to bring him to Maine this fall and find him a loving home.
