Meet Tofu!
Tofu is a Poodle Mix who is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He found his way to us as a stray and was never reclaimed by an owner. Tofu is now searching for his forever family!
Tofu is a friendly and easy-going guy who loves being pet and receiving affection from his human friends! He walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the trails, sniffing around and taking in all the new smells. This lovable and gentle pup also has an independent side and is happy doing his own thing!
Tofu arrived with some matting in his coat and received some much-needed TLC and grooming from a staff member. He did wonderfully during the grooming process! As a Poodle Mix, Tofu will need regular professional grooming and consistent coat maintenance to keep him comfortable and mat-free. His future family should be prepared to keep up with his grooming needs!
Tofu would do well with kiddos aged 6 and older. He has the potential to live with another dog and would likely enjoy a more independent canine companion who is happy to coexist with him. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs would take place at the shelter to ensure everyone is a good match. Tofu would also be perfectly content as the only animal in the home! He has the potential to live with a dog-savvy cat with slow, proper introductions.
Tofu is available now! He will need to go home through our Foster-to-Adopt program while he waits for his upcoming neuter procedure. Once his surgery is complete, his adoption can be finalized!
