Matt - Plott Hound Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Matt is living in a foster home! Fill out an adoption application to meet him!

This sweet guy is neutered and fully healthy! He is up to date on vaccines. He is also microchipped!

: Housebreaking - He has generally good house manners but may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new home.

: Crate Training - He is comfortable spending time in a crate and settles easily.

: Leash walking - Walks nicely on a leash and enjoys strolls with his person.

: Dog-friendly - He gets along with other calm, respectful dogs and may enjoy having an equally chill canine companion.

: Cat-friendly - Not sure, he hasn't met any cats while with us. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.

Kid-friendly - Unknown, he has not had any interactions with kids while with us



Matt is a sweet senior fella who still has quite a bit of pep in his step! He loves going for short walks to meet new human pals, and ideally to get scritches from them. He is also content hanging out in the yard in the sun, laying in the grass. Inside, he likes to hang out on the sofa and watch TV with you, and he will remind you when it's time for breakfast or dinner. Matt is such a great companion who is easygoing and with lots of love to offer!




Matt's adoption fee is $150, and he is excited to settle into his forever home!

This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!
