Casper - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Casper is living in a foster home. Fill out an adoption application to meet him!

This beautiful boy is neutered and fully healthy! He is up to date on vaccines. He is also microchipped!

Litter Box Trained: Has excellent litter box habits

Unknown with Dogs: Has not been tested with dogs, so his compatibility is unknown. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.

Cat-friendly - Hasn't spent time with other cats, but with proper introductions, it is likely he'd do great

Kid-friendly: Unknown, but likely would do great with respectful kids!

There's no chance you'll be ghosted by Casper because he loves being wherever his people are! This affectionate guy loves pets and, while he hasn't quite figured out laps, he'll happily flop right up against you on the couch or in bed for a cuddly nap.

Casper is delightfully vocal and loves to narrate his day-greeting you at the door, requesting attention, and providing commentary as he makes his rounds. When he's not chatting, you'll find him parked on a windowsill watching birds, bugs, and random people outside. His funniest quirk is his hilarious, puffed-tail "crabwalk" when he's caught off guard or when you re-enter the room after stepping away for a few minutes. We think it's his silly way of saying he missed you-or maybe he just forgot you were there!

Casper loves to play and gets some serious air chasing feather wands. He's also a fan of spring toys, tiny mice, pom-poms, scratch boards, and tossing a small soft dog toy around on his own. Confident and personable, Casper quickly settled into his foster home and loves meeting new people. He's a lovable mix of playful energy and easygoing chill-always ready for attention when you have time, but happy to curl up for a cozy nap when you're busy.

Casper's adoption fee is $100, and this cat can't wait to meet you!
