: Housebreaking - He has good house manners but may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new home.
: Crate Training - Familiar with a crate and does pretty well when home alone for 4-6 hours, but can take ~30 minutes to settle when crated overnight.
: Leash walking - He's been learning how to walk politely on a leash with guidance and practice, and trying to gain confidence around loud noises.
: Dog-friendly - He has seemed friendly when encountering other dogs on walks
: Cat-friendly - Not sure, he hasn't been tested with cats. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.

Tanner is such a sweet boy! He likes to go on walks and spend time outside. He loves his chew toys in the house, and especially enjoys sitting next to you while you watch TV. He keeps learning and growing every day, and is excited to keep exploring with his person!
Tanner's adoption fee is $300, and he will make a great addition to his future home!
This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
