Toby - Cattle Dog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Toby is at our Everyday Adoption Center inside of PetSmart South Gate Market (1101 S Canal St.)! Stop by anytime during open hours to meet them!

This sweet pup is neutered and fully healthy! They are up to date on vaccines. They are still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. They are also microchipped!

: Housebreaking: He is still learning, but with a schedule, he'll pick it up in no time!

Crate Training: He's been crated overnight, but also has been left to free roam when alone and done well!

: Leash walking: This little guy is still building his confidence outside, so he is still timid on leash

: Dog-friendly: Gets along with other dogs and would benefit from having a canine companion.

: Cat-friendly: Not sure, this pup hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro needed if adopted into a home with a cat.

Kid-friendly: We are still learning about this pup!

Toby just arrived to One Tail! He loves every one of his toys and entertains himself like an only child. When poeple roll the tennis ball, he just watches it like a tennis match, calmly, wanting to play but too timid to approach. He eventually slinks out, just building the courage. He is a gentle spirited pup who would benefit from a dog friend to help him learn to be more confident! He's still learning all about the big new world around him, and would love an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings.

OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense.

This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!

Toby's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet pup can't wait to meet you!
