Boo - Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Boo is at our Everyday Adoption Center inside of PetSmart South Gate Market (1101 S Canal St.)! Stop by anytime during open hours to meet them!

This sweet pup is neutered and fully healthy! They are up to date on vaccines. They are still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. They are also microchipped!

Boo is happy to please anyone he can, regardless of species. He will happily chew a bone or cuddle a plushie when his humans are unavailable, but is ready for snuggles at a moments notice. He will hoard any and all toys in his presence as each provide a new and exciting experience for him! They are still learning all about the big new world around them, and would love an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings.

: Housebreaking: He's a puppy learning the ropes! Still developing potty-training skills and will need frequent outings and patience.

Crate Training: Learning that the crate is a safe, positive space with continued practice. May bark while settling down after being left alone.

: Leash walking: Has little leash experience and is just beginning to learn the basics.

: Dog-friendly: Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion.

: Cat-friendly: Has lived with or interacted well with cats and can peacefully share a home with them. He may just need to be redirected when he tries to play with them!

Kid-friendly: We are still learning about this pup!

OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense.

This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!


Boo's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet pup can't wait to meet you!
