Meet Sunshine, also known as Sunny and honestly, her name fits her perfectly.

Sunny is a 1-year-old terrier mix weighing about 36 lbs, and she came to us as a stray. She has not been here long, but she has already made it pretty hard not to smile when you see her.

This girl is just a little burst of happiness. Her tail is always wagging, she has the biggest smile on her face, and she acts like every person she meets might just be her new best friend.

Sunny is the kind of dog who brings good energy with her. She is happy, sweet, friendly, and full of love. She does not need a big fancy introduction she just needs someone to meet her and see what we see.

She is a great leash walker, which is always a big plus. She enjoys getting out, walking with her people, and soaking up attention along the way. And kids? Sunny loves kids. She is wonderful with children and has that happy, gentle, people-loving energy that makes her such a sweetheart.

She may have come in as a stray, but she sure does not act like life has dimmed her light. Sunshine is still smiling. Still wagging. Still ready to love somebody with her whole heart.
