Copper is a 3-year-old hound mix with a heart just as big as his paws. This handsome boy came to us through no fault of his own—he was deeply loved, but his family could no longer care for him. Now, he’s starting a new chapter and patiently waiting for someone to give him the forever home he deserves. ❤️
Shelter life is a big adjustment, but Copper is taking it all in stride. We’re still getting to know him, but one thing is certain—this boy is as sweet and gentle as they come. He enjoys his meals (maybe a little too much 😄), and we’re helping him stay active with plenty of walks as he works toward a healthier, happier version of himself.
Copper is learning his leash manners and, while he’s a strong boy, he’s eager to please and improving every day. He’s already showing how much he enjoys affection, soaking up every bit of love our staff and volunteers give him. He’s also been doing well walking alongside other dogs, taking it all in with that calm, easygoing nature.
If you’re looking for a big, lovable companion to share your days with, Copper might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to trade kennel life for a cozy home, belly rubs, and a family to call his own.
