DESCRIPTION
๐ Meet Vera ๐
This beautiful 2-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound mix has already endured more hardship than any dog should. Vera was found by a kind Samaritan lying on the side of the road with a badly broken foot, severely underweight, and in very rough shape. Despite everything sheโs been through, this sweet girl has remained incredibly loving, gentle, and trusting. ๐พ
Vera has now undergone surgery on her foot, and what she needs most is a calm, loving place to heal. Shelter life is simply not the ideal environment for recovery after such a major operation. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim her, and now her future depends on us finding someone willing to help her through this next chapter.
If Vera does not receive the proper aftercare and recovery support, her leg may ultimately need to be amputated. That is why finding a foster or adopter is absolutely critical right now. She deserves every chance to heal fully and live the happy life she has clearly never known.
And trust us โ this girl is worth it. Vera is an absolute joy. She is sweet, affectionate, and has already captured the hearts of everyone here. Once healed, we know she is going to thrive in a loving home.
Please help us give Vera the future she deserves. Even sharing her story could save her life. โค๏ธ
