Torvi (aka Willow) - Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Meet Torvi (aka Willow) – A Sweet Girl Looking for a Fresh Start!

Sometimes life changes, and even the most loved dogs find themselves needing a new home. That's the case for Torvi, a beautiful 4-year-old, 67-pound Pittie/Lab mix who was adopted from Mostly Muttz as a puppy. After four years with her family, Torvi is returning to us through no fault of her own. As the family's younger children have grown into busy, active toddlers, Torvi has struggled with the noise, excitement, and unpredictability that come with little ones.

But there's so much more to this girl than that one piece of her story!

Torvi is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people. She can be a little nervous when meeting strangers, but once she's comfortable, she's happy to be part of the family. She's also quite the outdoorsy girl! Whether she's soaking up the sunshine, chasing a ball, going for a hike, or enjoying a good swim, Torvi is always up for some fresh air and fun. And if you love playing fetch, you've found yourself a willing partner!

Did we mention she's got brains to go with her beauty? Torvi has completed both basic and advanced obedience training and has quite the impressive résumé! She knows sit, stay, come, down, heel, place, leave it, drop it, and more. She can hold a down/stay while her person walks away, wait patiently for permission to eat, and has excellent recall. She's also house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and can be trusted loose in the house when left alone. Talk about a well-mannered lady!

Torvi enjoys other dogs and currently lives with an older canine sibling. She loves to play, although her enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for an older, less playful dog. A canine companion who enjoys a good wrestling match could be right up her alley!

Torvi has spent her entire life being loved, and our hope is that the next chapter of her life will be just as full of love, adventure, and companionship. She doesn't need someone to teach her how to be a good dog. She already is one! She just needs a home that better suits who she is.

Could you be the fresh start this sweet girl deserves?
