Casper - Yorkshire Terrier and Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Meet Casper, a little Boo Crew cutie!

Casper is a 9-pound sweetheart with a shy side and a whole lot of potential. He's part of our Boo Crew, an accidental litter whose mama was spayed after arriving at the shelter to prevent any more surprise puppies. His mom is a Beagle/Chi mix, and his dad is believed to be a Yorkie/Cheweenie mix.

Casper is still building his confidence, so he'll need a patient family willing to give him time to settle in and discover that the world isn't such a scary place. With a little understanding, lots of encouragement, and the chance to blossom at his own pace, this little guy has so much to look forward to!

Foster-to-Adopt opportunity! Casper will arrive in Pottstown, PA, on October 24 and can head directly into an approved Foster-to-Adopt home. Applications for this program will be accepted through October 19.

With Foster-to-Adopt, you welcome Casper into your home and give him time to settle in and become part of your family before making the adoption official.

If Casper sounds like the little guy you've been waiting for, use our adoption application to apply for Foster-to-Adopt by October 19!

If he doesn't have a Foster-to-Adopt home lined up, he'll head into a regular foster home and will be available to go home with his adoptive family on or after November 7, 2026.
