Whisper - Yorkshire Terrier and Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Meet Whisper, a little Boo Crew cutie!

Whisper is one of the tiny sweethearts of our Boo Crew, weighing just 6–7 pounds! She's part of an accidental litter whose mama was spayed after arriving at the shelter to prevent any more surprise puppies. Her mom is a Beagle/Chi mix, and her dad is believed to be a Yorkie/Cheweenie mix.

Just like her name suggests, Whisper is a little girl who may need some time before she's ready to let her personality shine. She's sweet but shy, so she'll need a patient family who understands that settling into a new home can be a big adjustment for a little pup. Giving her time to feel safe, build trust, and explore the world at her own pace will help her find her confidence and begin to blossom.

Foster-to-Adopt opportunity! Whisper will arrive in Pottstown, PA, on October 24 and can head directly into an approved Foster-to-Adopt home. Applications for this program will be accepted through October 19.

With Foster-to-Adopt, you welcome Whisper into your home and give her time to settle in and become part of your family before making the adoption official.

If Whisper sounds like the little girl you've been waiting for, use our adoption application to apply for Foster-to-Adopt by October 19!

If she doesn't have a Foster-to-Adopt home lined up, she'll head into a regular foster home and will be available to go home with her adoptive family on or after November 7, 2026.
