Meet Scarlett O'Tara: A Soulful Survivor Ready for Love! They say that home is where the heart is, and for Scarlett O'Tara, she is finally ready to find the place where she can truly belong.
Scarlett is a stunning 18-month-old, 62 lb. pitbull with a spirit that has remained incredibly sweet despite a difficult past. Based on her physical condition and the circumstances in which she was found, it is clear that Scarlett likely spent her young life being exploited for her puppies, only to be callously abandoned when she was no longer seen as "useful."
Despite everything she has endured, Scarlett's capacity for love is untouched. She is a total sweetheart who has discovered one of life's greatest joys: the belly rub. There is nothing she loves more than flopping over for a good belly scratch, and she will reward you with pure, soulful gratitude. She is resilient, gentle, and ready to trade a life of hardship for a future of soft beds, consistent kindness, and, of course, plenty of belly rubs.
Her future is now in good hands! Thanks to the incredible support of Mardi Paws and the Bissell Foundation, Scarlett is fully caught up on her vaccinations. She is currently preparing for her spay surgery and will soon begin her heartworm treatment. She is taking every bit of this new care in stride, proving just how much she wants to be a loyal family member.
Scarlett is looking for a home that understands the value of patience and the power of love. She needs a calm, nurturing environment where she can decompress and finish her heartworm treatment, surrounded by people who will cherish her for exactly who she is. In return for your kindness, you'll receive a lifetime of loyalty from a girl who knows better than anyone what a second chance is worth.
Are you ready to give Scarlett O'Tara her own "Tara"-the safe, permanent sanctuary she's been waiting for?

Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
