DESCRIPTION

*Woof* I'm in a foster home! To meet me, reach out to my foster caregiver at annaclairelevesque@gmail.com

Twista gets her name from being a hilariously bendy and agile girl. This absolute sweetheart has settled in with her foster family very quickly. She is a curious, funny girl who will follow you around dutifully and melt your heart with her desire to be in your arms. Twista is reportedly good with dogs but hasn’t been tested with cats. What we’re sure of is that Twista loves all humans unabashedly, and that she has a particular crush on men. Reach out if you’re looking for a lot of laughs and cuddles from this sweetheart!

Twista is extraordinarily polite. She doesn’t beg for food, she doesn’t bark at strangers or loud noises, and she greets people at the door with a tail wag and kindly guides them to the couch. Even when I shred chicken in the kitchen, she’s sitting in the doorway, quiet as a mouse. Twista loves to just be near humans, though she’s still incredibly quiet and at peace in her crate, too. Twista also loves tennis balls, being leaned on, and yogurt!

She is fully potty trained and does spectacularly with small children in the instances we’ve met them. She enjoys other dogs but can do a good job ofĀignoring them on walks unless she gets the go ahead. She's generally a very sleepy pup who will gladly sleep in with you in the mornings.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
