Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

I'm a young, friendly, affectionate gal, and petite - about 30lbs. I'm so enthusiastic about life but I'm also skilled at channeling my enthusiasm. See, even when I know it's time to walk, I wait patiently until the leash and harness are on and then I'm ready to go! I'll walk ahead of you to explore the path but not pull! I'm learning about this thing called "training." I'm a bit new to this, but it seems an interesting approach where I do certain things and get a treat-o! So far, I've learned to check in with my person and to touch their hand when they ask me to. We've also been working on other skills ("sit"). Let's just say it's a work in progress, but I have demonstrated great potential.

A volunteer recently went on a field trip and they said, "Dubliner is both fun and chill lady. After a walk she likes to take a nap with some snoring. She also enjoys fetching a ball and tackling a tug toy." And another volunteer said this: "Dubliner may be the cuddliest dog I’ve encountered! She was eager to get in the car (though small, so she needed a boost) and really insisted on being as close to me as possible for the ride. She showed zero signs of dog reactivity while we were out and about, even when a reactive dog was nearby. She is SO affectionate- she climbed into my lap, and the laps of a number of strangers - any chance she got! And she can pull off being a lap dog at around 30 lbs. Given her smallish size, she’s an easy walker. Her adorable ears will melt your heart. She knows sit and is responsive to her name and seems like an incredibly affectionate welcome to any home."
