MJ is a shy girl at first but give her a little patience and you’ll get to watch her blossom. Once she feels safe, she turns into an affectionate cuddle bug who loves pets, headbutts, and making the tiniest biscuits. She’s also not afraid to loudly announce when she thinks it’s time for attention! MJ is a great eater, loves Churus and wet food, and is getting better and better with her scratcher. She currently lives peacefully (on her end...) with two other cats but would also thrive as the spoiled center of attention in a home of her own.

We are DC's only open-access shelter. We are always available to help any animal in the District of Columbia. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, and more available for adoption out of our two shelters and also run the Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center.
