Meet Emilia — A Gentle Soul with the Cutest Giant Ears!
Emilia is a 2-year-old female rescued from the streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, through our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. While rescuers were working in the neighborhood, they noticed that Emilia was frequently being attacked by other dogs. Despite the challenges she faced on the streets, Emilia remained remarkably gentle, submissive, and trusting.
Our rescuers quickly realized that this sweet girl had tremendous potential as a companion. Rather than return her to the streets, they brought her into rescue and gave her the chance she deserved.
Today, Emilia is thriving in a foster home. She has completed a rehabilitation and training program and has shown herself to be highly trainable, eager to learn, and eager to please. She is extremely gentle, has no aggression, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children.
And then there are those giant ears and gorgeous eyes! Emilia has the most adorable expression and a sweet personality to match. She is loving, affectionate, and simply enjoys being around people.
Emilia is vaccinated, spayed, and ready for her forever home in the USA.
She has been through so much and somehow never lost her gentle spirit. Now she is ready for a family who will give her the love, security, and happily-ever-after she has been waiting for.
