Meet Ozzy — One Handsome Little Heart-Stealer

At just 3 months old, Ozzy is one seriously adorable little guy. With his rich chocolate-brown coat, white markings, and irresistible little face, he’s the kind of puppy who makes it very difficult not to fall in love.

Ozzy is one of six puppies—four boys and two girls—whose lives began in a parking lot in Saltillo, Mexico. Their devoted mama, Paulina, was severely malnourished and doing everything she could to keep her babies safe. After being mistreated by people in the area, she sheltered her puppies beneath a structure, protecting them the best way she knew how.

Our founder spotted the little family while traveling to San Miguel de Allende. She continued on her trip, but she couldn’t get Paulina and her babies out of her mind. On her way back, she returned for them—and this time, the entire family came with her to safety.

Now Ozzy gets to leave that beginning behind and simply be what he was always meant to be: a puppy. He has a whole world ahead of him to discover and a lifetime of love, play, learning, and adventures waiting for him.

Like any young puppy, Ozzy will need a family ready for all that puppyhood brings—training, socialization, patience, playtime, and plenty of love. In return, they’ll have the privilege of watching this beautiful little boy grow into the dog he’s meant to become.

Ozzy survived his first chapter. Now he just needs someone to give him his forever one.
