Meet Byrd.

He's a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs a perfectly manageable 13 pounds, which is fortunate because we're pretty sure his personality would require a much larger shipping container.

Byrd is cream and white, ridiculously cute, and completely convinced that the world is his stage.

And apparently, he likes to make an entrance.

The transport team tells us Byrd was a little growly when he first met everyone-because apparently he believes introductions should have a little dramatic tension.

But once the leash goes on?

Suddenly we're friends.

Like... really friends.

Byrd made friends with everyone on transport and quickly showed everyone what we suspected all along:

He's a ham.

A total ham.

A Chihuahua ham.

Which means he comes with the usual Chihuahua operating system:

Big personality.
Tiny body.
Strong opinions.
Excellent facial expressions.

Just look at him!

That second picture is the face of a dog who has either just heard the funniest joke ever told or is about to tell one himself.

Byrd is looking for someone who appreciates a dog with a little spice, a lot of personality and absolutely no interest in being boring.
