This gorgeous four-month-old black girl is named after Nyx, the ancient Greek goddess of the night, and honestly... we think she got the assignment.

With her sleek black coat and those bright, expressive eyes, Nyx looks like she could spend her evenings prowling through moonlit forests and guarding ancient secrets.

Instead, she's here at NFSAW looking for toys.

Priorities.

Nyx may have the appearance of a tiny supernatural creature, but underneath that dramatic exterior she's still a kitten with all the usual kitten responsibilities: investigating suspicious cardboard boxes, chasing things that move, finding the best sleeping spot in the room, and occasionally doing absolutely nothing for several hours because she has important napping to accomplish.

And black cats have a special kind of magic. They can look incredibly elegant when they're sitting still and completely ridiculous approximately three seconds later.

Nyx is ready to put that magic to work.

She's spayed, SNAP negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for an indoor forever home where she can grow from mysterious little shadow into someone's beloved house panther.

Warning: Nyx may appear silently beside you without explanation, disappear into a dark room, and leave you wondering whether you adopted a kitten or a tiny creature of the night.
