Meet Amber, and yes, we realize naming a gorgeous orange-and-gray torbie Amber was practically inevitable.

This little girl is approximately 11 weeks old and looks like somebody took a handful of autumn leaves, added a little cream, a little gray, and somehow turned the whole thing into a kitten.

She's beautiful.

She's also a torbie-which means she has the fun combination of tabby stripes and tortoiseshell coloring. Basically, nature decided one pattern wasn't enough and said:

"Let's just use ALL of them."

We approve.

Amber is young, adorable, and at the age where the world is one giant playground waiting to happen. Toys, boxes, climbing opportunities, mysterious noises, and unsuspecting humans are all potentially important parts of her future career.

And somewhere in that tiny body is a future grown-up cat who is going to be absolutely stunning.

Amber will be spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations, and she's ready for an indoor forever home.

Warning: Amber may cause spontaneous use of the phrase "Oh my gosh, LOOK at her!" approximately 600 times per day.
