Meet Kitanna — a compact little powerhouse with a whole lot of personality packed into 38 pounds! At just 1 year old, this fully grown girl still has all the fun, goofy puppy energy that makes every day more exciting. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, chasing toys, or happily bouncing by your side, Kitanna is always ready for the next adventure.

This sweet girl came to us as a stray, but you’d never guess it by how confident and loving she is. She walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore with her people. Kitanna would thrive in an active home, especially one with young kids who are ready to keep up with her playful spirit — they can wear each other out together!

When playtime is over, Kitanna is more than happy to soak up attention and enjoy being part of the family. She’s already spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to leave shelter life behind for good. All she’s missing now is a home to call her own.

Kitanna's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!

The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
