*Woof* I'm in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at Tacampobasso@gmail.com
Hello, Finito here, and my middle name is Honeybear because it describes my true personality. I may be a sizeable pup but deep at heart, I am just a big cuddlebug! I'm doing so amazing in my foster home - my fosters say I'm house trained, crate trained, and very gentle and sweet natured.
When my friends visit me at my den at the shelter, I immediately turn so they can scratch me in just the right spot. Sometimes it takes a pleading look from my golden honeybear eyes, but then they oblige. I am always ready to go for a walk and do look forward to my daily exercise so I am envisioning a life where we can enjoy lots of outdoor time together and then rest and snuggle. It's all about the balance! Looking for a balanced lifestyle? Look no further than Finito, the honeybear in disguise!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
We are DC's only open-access shelter. We are always available to help any animal in the District of Columbia. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, and more available for adoption out of our two shelters and also run the Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center.
