DESCRIPTION
*Woof* I'm in a foster home! To meet me, reach out to my foster caregiver: brianapjns@gmail.com
Honey is an 8-pound senior Chihuahua looking for a soft, loving retirement home where she can be pampered and adored.
Her foster reports: "Honey is truly the easiest dog I ever could have imagined and really just wants a comfortable and predictable place to rest. She sleeps most of the day, does not have any interest in going for walks, and would just like to be wrapped in a blanket near you to rest. She is as sweet as can be and great with people and dogs and can be left home alone uncrated. I brought Honey to a beer garden in my tote bag, where she curled up and went to sleep for a few hours while I watched a game with friends. You just have to put her outside to go to the bathroom every few hours, but she will also use a pee pad if that’s not feasible."
She may be tiny, but her heart is absolutely huge. This precious little lady loves soft beds, mellow days, and the comfort of a steady routine. Honey is a wonderful golden girl who will be so happy to join a home where she can relax, feel safe, and enjoy all the tenderness she deserves. Meet this mini miss today — she’s ready to melt right into your arms.
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
