*Woof* I'm in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at patricia.m.rosemond@gmail.com
Bethany has the most precious, boopable little snout—and she’s using it to sniff out the perfect family to adopt her! In her foster home, she’s been a total sweetheart: super friendly, great with kids, and full of playful, happy-puppy energy (she loves to run and play). She’s also very smart and eager to learn—her foster parent keeps adding new commands and Bethany picks them up quickly, especially with positive, treat-based training. At night, she’s been amazing in her crate and sleeps through the night, and while she’s still working on potty training with an occasional accident, she’s doing really well overall and will continue to improve with a consistent routine. If you’re looking for a friendly, kid-approved, fun-loving puppy who’s ready to grow into an incredible companion, Bethany may be your perfect match. If interested in meeting this sweet girl, please reach out to her foster parent today!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
We are DC's only open-access shelter. We are always available to help any animal in the District of Columbia. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, and more available for adoption out of our two shelters and also run the Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center.
