Meet Courtney!

Courtney is a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer weighing 17 pounds. This sweet girl is still learning that the world can be a safe place and is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give her the time she needs to build trust and confidence.

While Courtney can be shy when meeting new people, she continues to make progress every day. She is looking for adopters who understand that trust takes time and are willing to let her settle in at her own pace, offering gentle encouragement and positive experiences along the way.

Courtney may do best in a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can help show her the ropes, provide reassurance, and encourage her to come out of her shell.

Courtney also requires a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, explore, and continue building confidence in her surroundings.

A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for both Courtney and her potential adopters.
