DESCRIPTION

Meet Bear - A Big Puppy with an Even Bigger Heart

Bear is a six-month-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who currently weighs 36 pounds-and he still has plenty of growing to do. This handsome boy is expected to become a large adult dog, so he's looking for a family excited to embrace life with a big, loyal companion.

Bear is the perfect blend of playful and easygoing. He has a friendly personality, a medium energy level, and a happy outlook on life that makes him a joy to be around. He loves spending time with other dogs, enjoys a good play session, and is always ready to make a new friend.

Already house trained and walking beautifully on a leash, Bear has an excellent foundation for his future family. He's ready to jump right into everyday life, whether that's neighborhood walks, exploring hiking trails, camping under the stars, or simply tagging along wherever his people go.

As a young puppy, there's still so much of the world left for Bear to discover. He's dreaming of his first camping trip, his first mountain trail, his first lazy afternoon stretched out in the grass-and yes, maybe even his very first couch to curl up on after a day full of adventure.

Sweet, affectionate, and eager to be part of a family, Bear is ready to grow into the loyal lifelong companion he was always meant to be. If you're looking for a best friend who will happily join you on every adventure and then settle in beside you at the end of the day, Bear is waiting to meet you.

------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
