DESCRIPTION
Meet Dil!
Dil is an 8-year-old West Highland White Terrier weighing 18 pounds. This sweet and friendly boy loves being around people and forms strong bonds with those he knows and trusts. His favorite thing in the world is spending time with his people and soaking up all the attention and affection they have to offer.
Dil walks well on leash and enjoys accompanying his family on outings and daily strolls. He also gets along with some other dogs, but can be dog selective. While he enjoys canine company, he is happiest when he is receiving love and attention from his favorite humans.
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will gladly be by your side, Dil may be the perfect match for you.
We require an in-person meet and greet at our shelter location to help ensure that Dil is a great fit for his future family and that his future family is a great fit for him.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
