Meet Joey — the couch-top connoisseur

Joey is a 2–3 year old Maltipoo weighing in at a perfect 12 lbs. He’s got that unmistakable Poodle charm — soft curls, bright eyes, and a calm, thoughtful vibe that makes him the ideal little companion.

This gentle guy is a bit of a cat in disguise: he loves to climb and survey his kingdom from the back of the couch, where he can keep tabs on everything while staying close to his people. He’s polite with toys (no destructive habits here), and plays beautifully with other dogs — always the respectful, easygoing one in the group.

Joey is crate trained and potty trained if kept on a schedule. He’s sweet with kids and kind to dogs of all ages, including seniors.

Joey has completed heartworm treatment and is back to his healthy self.

If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate buddy who brings calm joy and cuddles to your home, Joey’s your guy.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
