Hi... my name is Daisy.
I’m a Maltese Yorkie mix only 8 months old and about 8 pounds.
I have soft cream and tan fur, a fluffy little body, and a heart that really, really wants to love you.
I'm already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and crate trained.
I will travel from northern California to Ridgefield, WA on September 27th to live with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.
My adoption fee is $900 US

Here is my story:
I just might need a little time before I’m brave enough to show you.
You see, I started my life as one of 13 dogs living together in a very small kennel.
Thirteen of us.
So many little bodies sharing such a tiny space.
I didn’t get to experience the big world the way most puppies do.
I didn’t learn that every new person was someone I could immediately trust.
So when I first meet you, I might hang back.
I might watch you quietly.
I might need a little time to figure out...
“Are you safe?”
“Will you be gentle with me?”
“Can I trust you with my little heart?”
Please don’t mistake my shyness for not wanting you.
Because something pretty wonderful happens when I finally decide you’re safe.
I BLOSSOM.
Suddenly, that shy little girl disappears and my goofy, playful personality comes out!
I’ll follow you around the house.
You’ll turn around and—yep—there I am.
Go into another room?
I’m coming.
Sit down?
I’d love to cuddle.
Walk around the house doing boring human things?
Perfect. I’ll supervise.
Once I choose you as my person, I become your tiny 8-pound shadow.
Not because I have separation anxiety—I’m actually okay when you need to leave me.
And I’m not much of a barker either.
I simply LOVE being close to the people I trust.
And I have plenty of other friends too!
Big dogs, little dogs—I love them all.
I’ve also spent time around sheep, goats, horses, and chickens.
For an 8-pound girl, I have a pretty impressive farm résumé!
I’m spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for the most important part of my journey...
Finding my forever family.
I’m not looking for someone who expects me to run into their arms the first five minutes we meet.
I’m looking for someone who sees the shy little girl standing back and says:
“It’s okay, Daisy. Take your time. I’m not going anywhere.”
Let me come to you.
Let me learn your voice.
Let me learn your smell.
Let me follow you around and discover what it feels like to have someone who belongs to me.
And one day, you’ll realize something has changed.
The little girl who was once afraid to come close will be curled up beside you.
The puppy who watched you cautiously will be following you everywhere.
And the little heart that was afraid to trust will belong completely to you.
I started my life as one of 13 dogs in a tiny space.
But I’m dreaming about something different now.
A home.
A family.
A favorite spot on the couch.
Someone to cuddle beside.
And a person I can finally call mine.
My name is Daisy.
And just like a flower, I may need a little time, patience, and love to bloom.
But if you give me that...
I promise I’ll give you my whole heart.
Love,
Daisy
