Luna - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Hello, my name is Luna!
I'm a bit shy but I'm putting myself out there in the hopes of finding a family. A little about me: I was rescued from a shelter in AL with my siblings. My rescuers aren't sure how I came to be in the shelter and I can't talk to tell them.... my siblings and I all look a little different. Two look very Lab, one looks like a Hound, and I'm a bit scruffy so we are definitely a mix of breeds! At 7 months old, I weigh about 34 lbs so I will likely be medium sized when full grown.
I'm a puppy that grew up in the shelter so will need a family committed to teaching me basic puppy training commands. My rescuers describe me as shy, gentle, and sweet. I like other dogs and all the dogs at the shelter really like me. I like to sit in the laps of humans that I feel comfortable with and receive love and pats.
My rescuers say that lately shy dogs aren't getting adopted very quickly. I would like you to know that being shy is temporary- with love, security, and experience I can be a happy and enthusiastic pup. I am still in AL but my rescuers hope to bring me to Maine in early November.
