Cavatappi - Miniature Pinscher Dog for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Oh hello there. My name is Cavatappi. I'm a little shy, but I am going to do my best to introduce myself. As you can see from my video, I was rescued from an AL shelter. I found myself there after being abandoned on a property in AL. That was really scary so, as you can expect, I can be shy and nervous at first. With time, I settle in and I really love cuddles, pats, and snuggles.

A calm home would be best for me- I likely would not love to be around loud and rambunctious children. Older, respectful kids would be best. My new family will need to be patient with me- a family that gives me time to decompress and to learn how fun the world can be would be the best fit.

A little about me:
I am estimated to be about one year old. So I'm pretty calm in the shelter right now but I may get some older puppy pep in my step once I am in a loving home where I feel safe
My breed? Possibly a Miniature Pinscher mix? I'm tiny at only about 12ish lbs
I am learning to walk on leash but I will likely need more practice as I didn't get much in AL

I am currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in early November. I would love a comfortable place to land so, if my family is out there, I hope they will see this video and put in an application for me!

If you think you might be interested in adopting Cavatappi or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website. Approvals are valid for one year and you will not have the waiting period of an application if you see a dog that you like! Approved adopters are placed on our email list for each transport and receive our Google slides that we send to all pre-approved adopters before posting on Petfinder and our social media and are eligible to attend our meet and greet events.
