This hardworking cattle dog mama has already lived through more adventure than most dogs experience in a lifetime. On a freezing cold country night, Nonie was found doing what good moms do best... keeping her eight puppies safe and warm despite impossible circumstances. To make matters even tougher, she was also heartworm positive.

But Nonie never quit.

She raised all eight of her babies, watched them find loving homes, and successfully completed her heartworm treatment like the tough country girl she is. Now for the very first time, its Nonie's turn to be the one getting spoiled.

As a true cattle dog, Nonie isn't looking for a life of endless couch naps and reality TV marathons. She wants purpose. She wants adventure. She wants a job. Whether that's helping check fences, supervising livestock, riding shotgun on the farm truck, or simply making sure every squirrel knows whos in charge, Nonie is happiest when she has something to do.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $350 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix for full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history.
