Meet Guinness!

If Guinness were a weather forecast, he'd be a 100% chance of zoomies with occasional toy tornadoes. At just under a year old and 60-65 lbs this handsome boy is still very much in his teenage phase. When Guinness enters a room, you'll know it. Not because he's naughtybecause he believes every moment is an opportunity for adventure.

Need someone to test the durability of your dog toys? Guinness is your guy. Need a playmate for your dog? Guinness is already packing his bags. Need a couch potato? Well... maybe keep scrolling. Though he may snuggle at night after a long, fun day.

Guinness to play, chase toys, and generally live life at full speed. Despite all that enthusiasm, he's also a sweet and affectionate boy who genuinely enjoys being with his people.

He's done well in a kennel, settling in without barking or putting up a fuss, and he's a great passenger in the car. For a young dog still learning about the world, he's shown a lot of promise and adaptability.

Because Guinness is still a youngster with a very strong build, he'd do best in a home without very young children. He doesn't have a mean bone in his bodyhe just occasionally forgets that not everyone wants to be greeted by a furry freight train traveling at top speed. We haven't had the opportunity to test him with cats, so his feline opinion remains a mystery.

The truth is, dogs like Guinness don't always have an easy path. Young, energetic dogs often get overlooked because they require patience, training, and commitment. But they're also the dogs that reward you the most. There is something incredibly special about watching a dog with limited options finally get the chance to become someone's beloved family member.

Guinness doesn't need a perfect home. He just needs the right onea family willing to laugh at his antics, channel his energy, continue his training, and love him for the wonderful, goofy dog he is becoming.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $300 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history.
