Meet Laila!

Named after legendary boxer Laila Ali, this little girl has been a champion from the very beginning. Not because she's tough or fearless, but because she's a survivor.

At just 3 months old and weighing only 11 pounds, Laila has already overcome more than most puppies ever should. She came into our care as a tiny bottle baby alongside her siblings (including twin sister Rousey), relying completely on human hands and hearts to help her make it through those fragile first weeks of life. Day by day, feeding by feeding, she fought to grow stronger. And today, she's blossomed into one of the sweetest puppies you could ever hope to meet.

While her namesake made a name for herself in the boxing ring, our Laila's greatest strength lies in her gentleness. She's a precious, dainty little pup who wants nothing more than to be loved. Her favorite place in the world? Curled up in your lap. Her favorite activity? Cuddling as close as physically possible.

And then there are those eyes. One look from Laila and you'll understand. She has the kind of big, soulful eyes that seem to look straight into your heart. The kind that make you feel chosen. If you're searching for a loyal companion who will adore you with her whole being, you've found her.

Of course, Laila is still very much a puppy. She'll need a family willing to guide her through all the important lessons ahead, house manners, routines, obedience, and confidence-building. But every puppy stage and every ounce of effort will be rewarded a hundred times over with the incredible dog she's destined to become. Just a note that while we believe Laila will stay on the small side, we cannot guarantee she will stay under 25 lbs.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimated based on any known history and physical observations.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a muscular, agile dog known for its loyalty and affection towards its family. With a friendly and courageous nature, this breed makes an excellent companion and is great with children. Their distinctive physical features include a broad head, strong jaws, and a short coat that comes in various colors. Despite their tough appearance, Staffordshire Bull Terriers thrive on human interaction and require consistent training and socialization to develop into well rounded pets.
