Meet Frankie!

Some cats find their way into rescue. Frankie practically begged for it.

During one of the coldest stretches of winter, Frankie was found on the side of the road crying out for help. She was freezing, frightened, and desperate for someone to notice her. When a kind stranger stopped, Frankie didn't hesitate—she tried her best to climb right into the car, as if she knew this was her chance. More like a dog than a cat, she was determined to leave her hard life behind.

Once safely indoors, Frankie made herself comfortable in the warmest spot she could find: a cozy bed piled high with blankets next to a heater. After everything she'd been through, all she wanted was warmth, safety, and someone to love her.

Today Frankie is thriving. She's a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys attention and companionship. She loves being near her people and is happiest when she's included in the daily rhythm of home life. She's also respectful indoors and isn't destructive—just a lovely cat looking for a place to belong.

Frankie would do best in an adult home where her boundaries are respected. While she's incredibly friendly and loving, she doesn't appreciate being teased and deserves a family that will treat her with the kindness she's always wanted. She hasn't been introduced to other pets, but she regularly hears dogs barking in her foster home and doesn't seem bothered by the noise.

Frankie has already survived the cold, loneliness, and uncertainty of life on her own. Now she's ready for the happy ending she fought so hard to find.

LOCATION:

This cat is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. The local adoption fee for pick up in Gulfport, MS is $50. If you want the cat transported to New Orleans or Pensacola the total fee is $90.

VETTING:

All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
