DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Bella: Your Next Best Friend!
Through no fault of her own, sweet Bella is looking for her forever home. At 9 months old, this adaptable, sociable, affectionate, playful pup is ready to bring joy, companionship, and couch snuggles to the right family.
The Basics:
• Breed: Husky/Lab Mix
• Age: 9-10 months old, Birthday somewhere between January 8th and 11th, 2026.
• Health: 35-40 lbs., spayed female, fully up to date on all vaccinations.
• House Manners: Both house-trained and crate-trained, and she knows basic obedience commands and has good manners overall.
• Training: She completed the Family Dog 1 class at Capital Dog Training Club.
• She is SO responsive to calm, positive reinforcement.
• She is food-motivated & highly trainable; she wants to please!
• Other Pets: She has successfully lived with both cats and dogs. Given her playful puppy energy, a slow, proper introduction would ensure a seamless fit with any resident pets. Some of the elderly dogs she has lived with found her puppy energy to be too much for their old souls but tolerated her antics because she respected their boundaries.
• Kids: Bella has lived with kids ranging from ages 4 to 17 and has done wonderfully with all of them. She is best with children over 10 years old.
• Vibe Indoors: She is a playful puppy with an off switch. She is relaxed at times and likes to cuddle. She rarely barks; occasionally she will bark for a couple of minutes while settling down in her crate, but otherwise she is a quiet girl!
• Her Personality & Favorite Things: Bella has the sweetest balance of playful puppy energy and total couch-potato cuddle bug. She loves playing with other dogs. She also enjoys long leisurely walks to sniff her surroundings and to greet new human or dog friends along the way. She is comfortable and has no problems taking in the many sights and sounds of busy city streets. After a walk, Bella's favorite place to be is curled up next to you on the couch or keeping herself busy with her favorite toy.
• Her Ideal Home would be an active one with routine (most of the time). She would love a home with kids 10+ because she is a young, excitable pup, and even though she does well with kids of all ages, a home with kids over 10 would be best.
