DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Fig! Fig and her buddy, Pup Newton, were found wandering as strays together and eventually ended up in a crowded Alabama shelter. When no one came to claim them, K-9 Lifesavers stepped up to give them both the second chance they deserve. Fig looks to be a true Heinz 57 mix — your guess is as good as ours! What we do know for sure is that she is a wonderful pup just waiting for her chance to find a family of her own. Fig is a playful, friendly girl with lots of love to give. At her young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization and ready to learn all about being a beloved family member. Fig is already spayed and ready to head home with her forever family. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
