Meet Chiquita — The Stunning Husky Cross Ready for Her Real Life
Chiquita is a 3 year old Husky cross who has weathered more than most dogs her age. As a puppy, she wandered with her mum and siblings, surviving on food scraps. She later survived a hurricane, and now she waits at the SPCA PV sanctuary for the life she truly deserves.
Chiquita is one of the most striking dogs in the sanctuary — her unique colouring and warm caramel eyes stop people in their tracks. And her personality is just as beautiful. She leans in for snuggles, melts at your feet for belly rubs, and tries her best to get a taste of what real love feels like when visitors come by.

A Playful, Loving Girl With a Big Heart
Chiquita enjoys playing with the puppies — their youthful energy brings out her playful side. She can be selective with certain dogs and can get overexcited in big crowds of dogs. We think she’d love a home all to herself.
She regularly visits with cats and does well, though she can be a bit excited around them. As she’s spent her early life in sanctuary, she hasn’t had exposure to kids or busy crowds, and as a 55 lb girl, we’d love to see her land somewhere outside the big city.
Chiquita would thrive with outdoor space and a cooler climate — Mexico is a hot place for a Husky cross, and she deserves a home where she can stretch out, breathe easy, and enjoy the seasons.

Travel Options
Chiquita is healthy, spayed, and vaccinated, with flight options opening for BC and Alberta.
She is available for foster, foster to adopt, and adoption — but most of all, Chiquita is hoping for a forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished.
