Meet Katia — The Bright Faced Beauty With a Heart Full of Joy
Katia is a stunning fawn coloured pup with a bright white face, expressive ears, and a smile that makes everyone fall in love with her. She’s expected to grow to around 45 lbs, just like her devoted mum, Nova.
Part of our “K” litter of nine puppies, Katia was dumped alongside her mum and thankfully rescued by SPCA PV sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta. Nova is a mixed breed who looks shepherd heeler, and Katia herself may have a touch of lab in her — her sweet face and build certainly hint at it.

A Puppy Ready to Discover the World
Shelter life means Katia hasn’t seen much of the world yet, but volunteers work hard to give her new experiences. She’s enjoyed pool time, exploration, toys, and lots of affection — and she’s eager for more.

Katia is playful, gentle, and curious. She’s the kind of pup who will thrive with patient humans and a home that lets her grow at her own pace.

Social, Sweet, and Cat Friendly
Katia and her siblings practise visiting with cats, and she does wonderfully — calm, respectful, and ready for a family that could even include feline friends. Katia would enjoy a yard to run, and sunbathe, and maybe even another friendly dog to show her the ropes.

Location & Travel
Katia is currently in shelter in Puerto Vallarta, with flight options opening for BC and Alberta. She’s ready for: Foster, Foster to Adopt, Adoption, but she’s dreaming of a happy ever forever home.
