Fibian (aka "Fib")

Meet Fibian, a curious, timid, and adorable one-year-old who weighs nineteen pounds! He's a bit independent and taking things at his own pace as he settles in, making strides every single day toward feeling more comfortable in his surroundings.

Fibian is a little shy at first with new people and other dogs, but he's never shown any signs of aggression, and his crate has quickly become his happy place — he loves it and shows no fear there. He's making good progress with potty training on pee pads and is crate trained already, treating it as his true safe space. He's building leash comfort too, happy to sniff and explore when out and about.

Fibian's days are calm and cozy — potty breaks, meals, naps, and sitting near his people on the couch. He loves having a plush toy with him, his fuzzy bed, and getting familiar with new smells and sights.

Fibian would do best with a patient, easygoing adopter who can give him time to feel at home. He could thrive as an only dog or alongside a resident dog, and he's a great fit for apartment living in a calm to moderate household.
