Meet Cookie!
Cookie is a tiny 1-year-old city girl with long little legs, an adorable black coat with a white spot on her belly, and a personality that somehow feels much bigger than she is.
One of the first things you’ll notice about Cookie is her walk — she has the cutest little trot that makes it almost impossible not to smile. She’s sweet, friendly, and happiest when she gets to stay close to her person while taking in everything going on around her.
Cookie is potty trained, crate trained, and does great with other dogs. She can be a little reserved when first meeting someone new, but she warms up quickly and becomes more confident once she realizes she’s safe. She’s currently getting used to all the sights, sounds, and activity of city life and is doing better and better every day.
Her crate is her cozy little safe space, and she’s also perfectly content hanging out beside her person at home. She enjoys treats, squeaky toys, and a few short walks throughout the day, making her a great fit for apartment living.
Cookie would likely be happiest in a one- or two-person household, although a larger family could also be a great fit with a little patience while she adjusts. She could also do wonderfully with another small, gentle dog to keep her company.
Her foster describes her as “an absolute angel,” and it’s easy to see why. Cookie is tiny, affectionate, easy to have around, and full of quiet charm.
She may not take up much space, but she has plenty of love to give — and one very memorable little trot to go with it.
