At 2.5 months old, this Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix is a little spark of joy who loves to turn every playtime into an adventure. Whether she is chasing her siblings, pouncing on a toy, or inviting you to join in the fun, Chai has a way of making every moment feel special.

Though she is the smallest, her personality is anything but small. Chai is playful and full of excitement, especially when she spots other dogs, and she loves having a good toy to keep her busy. Her happy, energetic spirit shines through in everything she does, making her such a fun little companion to be around.

She also has a softer, sweeter side. When the world slows down, Chai loves to curl up right next to you, snuggling close and showering you with sweet kisses. HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
