Little Tyke is an 11‐month‐old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix who may only weigh 8 pounds, but he carries himself like a tiny king of joy. With his bright eyes, perky energy, and “let’s go!” attitude, he brings sunshine everywhere he trots.

He’s wonderfully social—great with dogs, gentle with kids, and even respectful with cats. Whether he’s exploring the yard, hopping into a lap for affection, or greeting new friends with his signature tail wag, Little Tyke is friendly to his core.

Still young and full of life, he’s the perfect blend of playful and sweet, making him an easy fit for families, first‐time dog owners, or anyone wanting a small companion with a big heart. Little Tyke is ready to bring love, laughter, and a whole lot of personality into his forever home.

Little Tyke is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
